Hello! Here is my Elluna root maxxing build. Resonating Idol may (hopefully) get nerfed in the future, which may remove the permanent root effect of this build.

+= RELICS =+
The core of the build is @Isochron's Timestaff and @Resonating Idol. You can swap @Isochron's Timestaff for @Ardent Songbow if you'd like, but I prefer the Timestaff. Two star @Resonating Idol is significantly better than one star @Resonating Idol, as you can dash and still keep your stacks on RMB. Most games you do not want to fight until you have these items!
+= GRIPS =+
Grip options are flexible since your relics give you enough cooldown reduction to perma root. I like to take @Chrono Gauge to make root chaining easier and @Rabbit Paw for lower dash cooldown.
+= BOOTS =+
Always take @Rocket High-Tops. Your air dash gives you the zoomies!
+= ABILITIES =+
You can level %Moonlight Blessing instead of %Lunar Dash at level 3 if you'd like, but this isn't a support build and the self-healing is quite bad. I delay heal and ult upgrades as long as I can as I am almost never using them. Maxing %Darkside Binding is a must!
+= PERKS =+
@Generative Elixirs gives a lot of value when used and solves your mana problem. You can throw wards on the ground and pick them back up to trigger the effect. @Lockdown makes your roots last longer! I think these are the two most important perks, the rest is up to preference. I love the @Farsight perk on all characters and you can take @Amplified Haste and @Amplified Mana to make it easier when starting out with this build.
+= EXOTICS =+
This build is not reliant on souls or exotic perks at all, but some of my favorite are @Hyperhaste for faster root cooldowns, @Resilience because it's the strongest perk in the game, giving infinite healing and armor sustain, @Infinity for infinite mana -especially helpful if you don't have 3 star @Resonating Idol yet, and @Nightstalker for stealth roots.
I don't typically pick up exotic relics, but since @Dreadstar gives 30% ability haste you can use it as a direct replacement for @Isochron's Timestaff.
+= PLAYSTYLE =+
This is an aggressive dueling Elluna build, revolving entirely around her RMB. You are not here to heal or ult your teammates but instead to make sure the enemies can't move anymore! Focus on staying safe early game and getting enough gold to buy your items. Then cast your %Darkside Binding (it doesn't matter if it hits anything) until you have 10 stacks of @Resonating Idol on your %Darkside Binding (you can see stacks on the right side of your screen). If you land a %Darkside Binding your opponent will be rooted for long enough you'll get another %Darkside Binding ready! If you miss, you should have another one ready to fire in 2 or 3 seconds. As long as you don't miss and aren't interrupted, your opponent will eventually crumble >:). Keep an eye on your mana! Sometimes you will have to drink a #Vive Brew right after rooting an enemy, but hitting your LMBs restores some mana too! Not much more to say about this build, just root the enemies over and over, it's an easy playstyle!
